Go to There: Upcoming shows to catch

By Sarah Rosenfeld

Massive Ego
TONIGHT, November 12: Massive Ego w/ Lazy / EEEAGLES / SkyMaulat at Empty Bottle (8:30pm, 21+, FREE w/ RSVP or $8 at door)

Local experimental garage post-punk psych rockers Massive Ego put on a killer show back in September at Empty Bottle (check out our review here). Don’t miss them again. There isn’t even any snow tonight so no excuse!

Thursday, November 14: Cut Copy at the Riv (8pm, 18+, $27.50)

If you want sweaty fun dancing, this is where you need to be on Thursday. Cut Copy plays an amazing electro/ synth-pop set that was one of the highlights of this years Gov Ball NYC.

Friday, November 15: Slayer w/ Gojira and 4Arm at Aragon (7:30pm, All Ages, $36.50)

You guys. Slayer. Original thrash metal legends playing an old school show consisting of classics. Intense French death metal band Gojira opening along with Aussie thrash metalists 4Arm. This is a must see show for every metalhead in the city.

Saturday, November 16: Diarrhea Planet w/ The Lovely Bad Things and Shiloh at Beat Kitchen (8:30pm, 17+, $10)

Last Diarrhea Planet show I went to involved a mosh pit at Schubas. With Lovely Bad Things and local scum-pop band Shiloh opening, it should be a rowdy good time on Saturday at Beat Kitchen.
