Pixies add third Chicago show to 'Doolittle' anniversary tour
In July the Pixies announced dates for a U.S. tour honoring the 20th anniversary of their most renowned record, Doolittle, including two Chicago shows - November 20 and 21 - at the Aragon Ballroom. If you missed out on tickets to those now sold out dates, good news: a third Aragon show has been added for Thursday, November 19.
The tour's setlist will include all 15 songs from the band's sophomore LP, meaning classics such as "Debaser," "Monkey Gone to Heaven," "Wave of Mutilation" and "Here Comes Your Man" will be out in full force alongside rarely-performed songs like "La La Love You," "Silver" and the album's B sides.
Bad Lieutenant, the new project from Bernard Sumner of New Order and Joy Division, will open the November 19 show. No Age will support on November 20 and Jay Reatard on November 21.
Tickets for the added date go on sale Saturday, October 24 via Ticketmaster.
